Edwards AFB as seen from "the spot"

The spot is an observation point about 8 miles south of the main part of the base. You can find a map to the spot here, based on my GPS track. 

 These photographs were taken from the road, but a better spot would be on a hill located at N34.81792 W117.76256.

The next two links are from the same website. The author refers to the location as Photoresolution Road, indicating that these planes are photo targets. The photos on this website were taken on the range itself rather than from a public area, so the photography is much clearer.
