Reveille is a ghost town north of the Groom ranges. There are quite a few buildings in the area, though this stone cabin is the only one that is interesting.

The mining operation is just a bit north of the residential area. The sign is difficult to read since the toxic fumes have eaten away at the paint. The sign reads "DANGER CAUSTIC DANGER CYANIDE". Perhaps Jimmy Hoffa is at the bottom of this cyanide pit. If this site were near a populated area, it would probably be on the "superfund" list. Hint: use a telephoto lens if you want to visit this site, unless you like to be up close and personal with toxic waste. Those born in New Jersey are immune to such toxics due to exposure at an early age.

This ghost town is a bit past Brainwash Butte, the Tonopah Test Range view spot. It seems many of these ghost towns have a stone cabin. Maybe the boss gets the high end digs.

If you are not the boss, your housing may not be as fancy. In Silicon Valley, this is known as a fixer upper.

What can I say but the bathroom is "detached" from the house.
